Playa del Carmen reef dives

Playa del Carmen has become an internationally popular diving destination with a great variety of tropical fish that can be seen in its waters and coral reefs in abundance.

In the crystal clear waters close to Playa del Carmen you will experience the second largest and one of the most beautiful coral reefs in the world.  A diversity of marine life and species of all sizes such as turtles, eagle rays, moreys, nurse sharks and bull sharks. Diving in this area will be a marvellous adventure!

I will take you to the best diving spots in Playa del Carmen. The water temperature varies from approximately 30°C in summer (86 °F) and 24°C (74°F) in winter and the water is so clear it allows visibility up to 30 meters. Diving enthusiasts favour this area due to the water conditions being optimal throughout the year. The oceanic currents in Cozumel Channel generally allow for 10 to 30 metres immersions and we use the drift diving technique.

Whether you are an experienced diver or a beginner who wants to try it for the first time, diving in Playa del Carmen is an unmissable activity during your holidays in the Mayan Riviera.
