Cenote Dive

The geography of the Yucatan Peninsula is very special and includes beautiful formations of water bodies and tunnels that are surrounded by limestone. These natural pools called cenotes became sacred Mayan sites of worship in pre-Hispanic times.

Scuba diving in cenotes is a mystical experience that recalls a time where every element of nature had a special place in the cosmos and in the Mayan rituals of daily life. According to pre-Hispanic beliefs, the great cenote was the means of communication with the gods of the underworld.

With the lush jungle as the background, visitors who wish to dive in the large cenotes of the area will to turn that dream into reality without any additional certification, you only need to have a good understanding of buoyancy control and learn some specific rules to engage in this exciting activity.
